GAEL CHARBAU
Curator and independent art critic


In 2003 he founded the magazine Particules, which he directs until 2010. He has the editorial director of Salon de Montrouge from 2009 until 2014. In 2014, he co-creates and directs the Bourse Révélations Emérige, which is aimed to support emergent artists working in France. From 2014 until 2017 he is the director of the artistic program of Collège des Bernardins. From 2015, he is artistic advisor for Universcience (Palais de la découverte et Cité des Sciences). In 2016 and 2017 he is the curator of the program Inventeurs d’aventures for the association of art school of PACA region (Ecole du Sud). He often organizes exhibitions in Europe and Asia, collaborates with different institutions and sponsors: Palais de Tokyo, Friche Belle de Mai, French Institut, Fondation d’entreprise Hermes, Aussi Talents program,
Emérige Mécénat. In 2018 he has been named artistic director of Nuit Blanche.
