JÉRÔME SANS
Curator and art critic

Independent curator, art critic, and director of contemporary art institutions, Jérôme Sans was the co-founder and former director of the acclaimed Palais de Tokyo in Paris until 2006. He then moved to the UK where he became the Director of Programming at the BALTIC Center for Contemporary Art in Gateshead, and from 2008 to 2012, he was the former director of the ground-breaking Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing (UCCA). He is currently the artistic director of one of the most important urban development projects in Europe, the Lyon Rives de Saône-River Movie, and co-founder of Perfect Crossovers ltd, a Beijing based cultural consultancy group. From 2012 to 2014, he was the creative director and editor-in-chief of the French cultural magazine L’Officiel Art.
