Doctor and visual artist
The work of Libia Posada evidences the interdisciplinary nature of contemporary artistic practices, which have the ability to shake boundaries between art and other cultural and social practices.
Throughout her production, at the frontier between art, medicine and politics, she has established a series of ambiguous codes that show the logic of the absurd that crosses science and medicine as a political practice. Her projects take a critical and often ironic stance, they represent the body beyond the biological turning into a open field, a crossover between science, history, culture and politics.
She had several personal exhibitions in Colombia such as at
the Museo de Antioquia (Medellín), Museo Nacional de Colombia (Bogotá).
EXHIBITION TO BE HELD IN JUNE 2020 AT PALAIS DE TOKYO
