Curator and art critic
Marc-Olivier Wahler is the director and co-founder of Chalet Society in Paris. From 2000 to 2005, he was managing the Swiss Institute For Contemporary Art in New York and from 2006 to 2012 he was the director of the Palais de Tokyo. In 1994, he hadco-founded the CAN (Neuchatel Art Center) that he runs until 2000. For fifteen years, he organized over 200 exhibits, in particular Transfert in Bienne in 2000, Liquid Sky at the « Bourgogne Frac » in 2003 and many others.
Art critic, he regularly writes about contemporary art, but also about Mike Tyson, stealth bombers,
Lolo Ferrari, the Hells Angels, quantum physics, and mutants.
